What luck to be stationed near water. Out here in no-man's land, we don't get so many exciting species. Wondering about the identification of the Mesopotamian Crow. I've been calling it a Hooded Crow -- same thing? Thanks for the great pics!

You have such wonderful pictures! I did quite a bit of birding on my last tour, and it's great to see pictures of the birds I found. I am incredibly jealous of the kingfishers you found. Thank you for sharing your experiances.
